"I would like to get a letter to council regarding the past world cup. Having spent the last 30 years in retail in Invermere, I would like to let council know I took my wife, son and his family to Canmore fri and sat nites for the races. I spent $600 on lodging, $500 at Murettas, another 500 on meals, several hundred on nordic accesories and had a fantastic time. The absoulute highlight, was Chandra's event sat nite downtown. My grandaughters had the time of their lives. That event will probably affect their lives and maybe two more top racers will result! I know how hard it is to convince retailers of the advantages of such an effort and disruption, but $3000 of my dollars were left in your town that would not have been there had you not done the Races. Cheers, John Nairn Panache Interiors Invermere, BC"

THANK YOU!  To everyone from partners, businesses, clubs and volunteers that helped make this a very special and successful event.

The following letter came in to the Town regarding this event.
